Brain Burn

I think 2 religious and/or philosophical discussions in a single day are more than I can humanly take on. Thank You, but my head really hurts now.
Have fun with these:
  • What is "success"?
  • What is "truth" and how do you know?
I've got to sleep more.

EDIT: Make that 3 in a day.

success (very much like beauty) is measured (i think) differently by each and every person. one person's success can mean failure to another, and vise versa. i think, just as long as i am healthy, happy, and living...i'm pretty successful (am i not?). sure, money's very important in the world we live in, but it isn't everything. and neither is a job, though it is significant, but it is not everything. it's very much, viewed, determined, and measured by the eye of the beholder.

truth...oh gosh. i don't think we'll ever know if something is truly, the truth. though Truth (with a capital T) is the truth of God. being the Truth, and the Light (or is it Life? i always get mixed up, but either'll work). though truth (lower case t) is something factual. like can be proved. so i guess that's how you'll know, if you can prove it. but like i said, i don't think you can EVER know for sure if something is "the truth". so we're screwd -___-'

(8) sometimes the heardest thing to believe is the truth

haha.. i just realized i rarely figure anything out to the max.. everything is kinda sorta pretty much instinctive, until i really gots to know. eh?

i dont care what success is, really. i just know s'long as i remain in Him i can't be a failure (by a looong shot).. but uh-oh, how do i know that that's the truth?!

isnt this where faith comes in.. so that we may believe that HE is the ultimate Truth, and the things He decides to reveal to us (that He reveals things to us) are in fact real? to a Christian, neither success or truth can be defined without God.. but without Him there's nothing to define anyway. haha, it feels like i just pointed up at the sky and ran away without answering anything.
